The living Epitaph

PoetryBy Sheikh RahilJune 28, 2026

"It's written on the black tombstone

I am alive, you can't see, Oh Man,"

As your eyes are yet to open.

Your mind is upset, Obviously!.

Someone wrought a coat like W.B. Yeats.

You didn't wear it, but made a scarecrow.

The one under the tombstone achieved great feats.

You kept throwing arrows without using the bow.

Ha! You will mend the wall!

Keep calm! it will never happen by you.

I love the way the birds tease you openly.

Ha! You got angry! Chirp Chirp.

It's written on the black tombstone.

"I am still alive, Will you keep me alive?"
