A promise beyond Time
PoetryBy Sheikh RahilAugust 10, 2026
Will you be mine, when hope has lost its name
And chide my errors till they kindle into flame?
Will you remain, when I am less than whole,
And read the scattered constellations of my soul?
Will you be compass when my heavens stray
And make my midnight answer to the day?
When time unthreads the fabric of our breath
Will love outlive the silent grammar of death?
If I am dust, and you the breath in me
Will you be finite or my infinity?
And if love is the question eternity must define
Shall I lose myself in you, and you in mine?
